GSI TYMPSTAR 2 TYMPANOMETER
The GSI Tympstar is a tympanometer with both manual and automatic mode. It offers two modes: diagnosis or screening. The integrated screen can display up to 3 tests.
• Eustachian tube test
Two test modes are available: one to test the Eustachian tube with an intact tympanic membrane and one to test the tube with a perforated membrane.
• Reflex-Decay test
The GSI Tympstar screen clearly displays the reflex decay time in seconds on its built-in display.
• Acoustic threshold test
The GSI Tympstar allows you to manually or automatically manage the timing of the tonal presentation. Several stimuli and intensities are available to determine the acoustic reflex threshold.
Options included in the device: measurement of Admittance (Y), Susceptance (B) and Conductance (G) at 226 Hz, 678 Hz and 1,000 Hz, as well as multiple frequency. This makes it easy to determine the resonance frequency of the middle ear.
